We Review all Planning Applications
Shropshire Council is responsible for Planning decisions and the Town Council reviews and comments on all local planning applications to ensure conformance with the Town Design Statement and other policy documents.
We allocate Grants and Make Donations
The Town Council makes grants/donations to local organisations and projects such as the Arts Festival, Christmas lights, Silvester Horne Institute. Applications should be made to the Town Council in the first instance.
The Community Events and Festivals Fund provides initial seed funds to organisers in order to encourage a programme of year round events and festivals in the town. Application Forms and Guidance Notes are available in the Office
