
Russell’s Meadow provides pitches for the Church Stretton Town Football Club and Church Stretton Cricket Club.
The pavilion has a common room with tables and chairs, a kitchen with serving hatch onto the playing field and two changing rooms, two referee rooms, and storage area for sporting equipment.
The Magpie football club, for girls & boys up to age 18, also use the pavilion though most of their sessions / matches take place on Brooksbury Recreation Ground which is situated between Russell’s Meadow and Churchill Road.
The pavilion is also used by the Youth Club who meet there weekly on a Tuesday evening.
There is also a small petanque court to the side of the pavilion which is open to members of the public . The Church Stretton Petanque Club play their on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon in the summer and people are welcome to just turn up. Email Ken Willis for more details

Church Stretton Cricket Club, established in 1921, is a village cricket club competing in Division Five of the Shropshire County Cricket League.
It caters for adults and juniors – and are always looking for new members.
Church Stretton Town Football Club
Church Stretton Town Football Club play their home games at Russells Meadow.
They are currently in the Salop Leisure Premier League.
