Christmas Lights Switch On

This year’s Christmas Lights Switch-On and our annual visit from Santa will take place on Saturday, 26th November 2022.

Santa will be in his Grotto in the Silvester Horne Institute between 11am and 3pm, giving our local children an opportunity to tell Santa their Christmas wishes for this year.  Tea and cakes will also be available.

Food, drink and entertainment will take place in the Market Square from 3pm, with our annual Children’s competition taking place before the Messy Church Light Adventure in St Laurence’s starts at 4pm.

The lights will officially be switched on at 5.15pm by our competition winner, helped of course by Santa.

Please remember roads will be closed between 2pm and 7pm, diversions will be in place, but no parking will be allowed in this area during this time, which we do hope you understand.
